  • Stroll through the historic centre of Cochem, a pleasure, it is a small German town, as taken from a tale. Its beautiful historic town, its charming cobbled streets, its picturesque half-timbered houses of wood and painted in colors, their sources, all so careful and so much detail. Every corner, a detail. Famous its mustard, which must test the PIN!

  • On a beautiful location in the heart of Cochem, this mustard mill. The short (and incidentally cheaply priced) tour of the production space gives a good picture of the production process of the mustard (In German, but for non-native speakers there were translations available). After the tour there is time for tasting the different types of mustard.

  • Recommend a walk in the region. Especially during the grape harvest in October. The cottages are very charming

  • Some refer to this as a museum but it's really just small shop with a long history of milling and preparing a variety of mustards on the site. Operations date back into the early 1800s. About 8 or 9 variations on the mustards are offered and each can be sampled before buying. Other mustard related condiments are also available. The milling operations go on in the back and appear not to be open to public observation. You can also purchase here the regional speciality Roter Weinberg Pfirsich Likör, a red peach liquor, although it can be found in other shops in Cochem.
  • Interesting little museum and a fantastic selection of mustards. Be sure not to leave without taking some of their good organic mustard home with you.
  • Super mustard. Honeycomb mustard and Peter mustard. Nice guide. Worth.
