  • The Tower of this church you see really of all corners of Cochem, it offers through a port also an access to the market square and is connected with a, for Catholic concepts, very simple Church.

  • The Church of Saint Martin in Cochem is a Roman Catholic Church that belongs to the Diocese of Trier. The church stands on the Moselpromonade on the left bank of the Moselle river. The oldest parts of the Church are built in the second half of the fifteenth century. In the 1930s there was a major renovation to the Church. During the second world war is a big part of the church destroyed during a bombardment. Only in the fifties of the last century the Church was rebuilt. The most striking at St Martin's Church is the pear-shaped Spire.
