  • Walking through this Englishesque garden to/from the Veste Coburg is lovely. But you can also wander around with no agenda. The lush park offers a rose garden, garden pavilions (built in 1754), a foun...  more »
  • You have a great view on the Ehrenburg, the theatre and the Palace Square. From there, you can look over the roofs of Coburg. Many different playgrounds with seating (picnic suitable). You can also simply on the meadow with a blanket lay and relax. (Sun and shadow courses) Well paved walkway to the Veste Coburg. Direct way: stairs way around: paved broad Street is the Hofgarten Park every season beautifully in the spring when it blooms. In the summer when many reside for a picnic or to go to the playground. A beautiful autumn walk. Or in the winter when it snows.

  • The Hofgarten Park is definitely my whereabouts in Coburg. In summer, a lot is going on, very much alive and full joy of life there. In the winter, he is transformed into an idyllic winter landscape. The Park is always a break worth just to stop and to soak up some nature.

  • The garden is very nice and very well marked. Impossible to get lost, every destination you want to reach. For those who want to walk the Veste Coburg from the Schloss Ehrenburg (i.e. the Center) however the journey and long and a long uphill. It takes at least half an hour of hard to reach the end of the garden, as long as you choose the way for steps (steeper but faster).
