  • The monastery is beautifully surrounded by deciduous trees on a slight Hill on Lake Office. The entire monastery is very small compared to other monasteries and they saw everything quickly. The facility is well kept and interesting exhibitions await visitors.

  • Boring, who finds the visit of the former monastery, has sure little interest in real history. What is offered one in the historic walls of this monastery is historical, architectural and scenic highly impressive and for history buffs a godsend. The revival and reconstruction by Friedrich Schinkel has returned to the Gothic brick building its present beauty. 4.-€ per adult are justified such monuments to protect and maintain.

  • The ruins of the Cistercian Monastery, founded in the 13th century and existed for three centuries, picturesquely rises among trees and lawns. The buildings are a fine example of brick Gothic and well preserved, despite centuries of abandonment. Of course, preserved mostly wall-time spared neither church nor vaulting frescoes, but even the ruins, drawn under the roof of a makeshift-leave an unforgettable impression.

  • Very nice monastery. Impressive buildings, much is still well preserved. Also recommended is a visit to the monastery Café.

  • Is the Café super, but 4 euros per person for a bunch of stones and a very arbitrary exhibition? Can I not recommend. If someone close to holidays and believes it could with a time entry visit the Cafe a second time. He is wrong. Then you get the note that there are also other cafes. Typical supported EU nonsense.

  • A nuisance if you would like to visit with disabled: there is a corresponding parking, only to get only on inclined slopes and crudest cobblestones to the entrance - why we failed.

  • Small monastery but very manageable. Nice place for concerts.

  • Former Cistercian Abbey, founded in 1258. Beautiful embodiment of brick Gothic
