  • The concept of trying to teach the cultural development of mankind in Saxony with modern design elements to the visitors and failed all along the line. You feel lost and wanders between the centuries, an excess of small exhibits and questions aufwerfenden descriptions, followed by numerous silent staff, surrounded by boundless anonymity. A Museum, it takes nothing more than Befremdlichkeit after his three-hour visit, is second to none.

  • The Ärchaologiemuseum is housed in the former Department store Schocken. In addition to the archaeology, the visitor experiences much about this department store of its history and the history of trade and change in the pre-war period. The Museum is very modern with many multimedia objects. Unfortunately, much is only torn and I lack the depth to the individual epochs. Nevertheless, the Museum is worth a visit definitely.

  • A true gem, one of the best museums I have ever visited. The design mixes perfectly mixing modern architecture with ancient relicts. We were guided in a fantastic journey through the life and culture of prehistoric local populations and up to modern times. A must-see in Chemnitz.
  • tolles Museum. Der Familienpass wird akzeptiert
  • The Museum offers just for eye and is thus very tiring. The way of working in excavations and research would be nice some more to illuminate. A hands-on excavation field for the visitors would loosen up the atmosphere.
