  • On the market square, next to the stinging railway, which in the ground embedded the new Tower of St. Marien greets with horseshoes. The Church is a piece of jewelry from the time of the Reformation, which was introduced early in Celle. The colors gorgeous, rather unusual for an Evangelical Church altar, in addition the epitaphs of the Dukes and their wives, and including the Royal crypt, in which you can descend at certain times is impressive. The Baroque organ over the entrance invites you to concerts and the magnificent decoration of the church interior along the Gallery makes you marvel. There is so much to see - you are zogstadt in the oldest part of the old manufacturers – at the Kalandgasse, not to be missed.

  • When I went on the tour, late July was about 30 degrees heat, so took a rest in a church. Inside the Church is cool and free water server is also installed, and really helpful. The location calm and pure white exterior and beautiful altar, behind a huge pipe organ inside the Church, sitting in a Chair, even just by looking.

  • If you are interested in historical designs then visit this place. I do appreciate the architectural work.

  • Climbing the tower is certainly worth the view you get on Celle and surrounding
  • The climb is a really queasy feel but the views are terrific. You can overlook the old town and see much further.

  • Nice, friendly older Lady takes 1 EUR for the Tower visit. Rose exciting, views, weather great! There are holes in the security fence for the cameras. Should have seen each time.

  • A climb of the steeple duty should be for every visitor. The rise is an adventurer of which one with a magnificent view on the Castle and the old town rewards.
