  • Who wants to be once very close to the maneuvering of vessels through the North Gate in is right here. Perfect location for photo and film.

  • When you're up on the Tower, then one is close to the ships, containers, cranes, locks. And you get a feeling for the huge dimension of the port. Actually, it's never crowded.

  • Certainly the container Tower is not a piece of jewelry. But it is worth to ascend the grating stairs. When you're finally up, you get rewarded. You can see something of the city, the port and the North Gate. So, anyone looking for sights in Bremerhaven, visit also the container Tower; be found shortly before the cruise ship terminal Bremerhaven on the right side.

  • Note: closed November through February, otherwise open 24/7 and entry free of charge. Basically just some stacked containers, but offers really nice view of harbor, docks and harbor locks. Worth a stop-over on your harbor tour.
  • Free viewing tower in the harbour of Bremerhaven. From the top you have a glimpse of the harbour. The information boards are placed regularly on the latest, great!

  • Just a few containers stacked up, screwed and equipped with stairs - and a wonderful lookout tower was created which really anyone who is interested in ports and shipping must have climbed. I was there already several times and have always new impressions. So my best recommendation with a greeting from Bremen.
