  • A House with an ancient tradition of trading. The word Schütting comes from 'protect' (low German) and the origin of the House had to do, namely to protect the merchants. A beautiful building with an imposing staircase and many rooms are embedded in the Hanseatic tradition of rich merchants. In addition to many landmark buildings in Bremen the Schütting extends very far forward.

  • One of the most beautiful buildings of Bremen with a very fine decorated façade. Located on the market square opposite the Town Hall.

  • This building, the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce of Bremen is located on the other side of the Town Hall and was originally built between 1537 and 1538 with successive modifications through time. It was very damaged by a fire in 1944 which was rebuilt in 1956. It is an austere building, with sloping roofs and attics, floors high and access through staircases. The building is in very good condition and its location makes it is seen by the majority of tourists visiting the city.
