Schnoor Viertel, Bremen
Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Schnoor Viertel has managed to retain much of its medieval character. If you stroll along this neighborhood's narrow streets, you can admire houses dating back to the 15th century. Don't miss the Schifferhaus, a well-preserved building constructed in 1630. The Landhernamt used to house the authorities administering the State of Bremen. Various shops sell local handicrafts, such as wooden toys, decorative doorknobs, fabrics, glassworks, and homemade candy. Once you've worked up an appetite exploring, consider stopping at one of the area's fish restaurants. to jest "must see" w Bremen! Wąskie uliczki, malutkie wąskie domki. Świat jak z bajki! Do tego nieopodal całoroczny sklep bożonarodzeniowy, który jest naprawdę uroczy :)This is a "must see" in Bremen! Narrow streets, tiny narrow houses. The world as a fairy tale! To close a year-round Christmas shop, which is really cute:)show original

Still worth a visit because of the small houses and some streets, which are not even one metre wide! Many tourists. One should always eat "Cat Cafe" or at least coffee drinking!show original

Such a lovely romantic place being in the surrounding. Rebuilt small houses are there. It is rebuilt since it had been destroyed during the war. The government had restored it again and designated the area as one of the tourist attraction. Many food stalls and souvenir shops are within the area, for you to further explore Schnoor. Paved by using small square stone blocks, which makes the environment a lot more unique. And one more thing, Schnoor is located within walking distance from the Bremen city center. Enjoy!!!

It was an awesome place to visit. Clean, beautiful and the people is very kind!
This place is worth a visit.. small street filled with different small shops right next to the city center, but it almost feels like something out of harry potter with the small alleys and nice people
Very picturesque with touristy shops, nice looking bars and restaurants
Schnoor is a little cut in the city centre where you feel yourself transported back to a time and place in the past. It is possible to find small shops and bar/restaurants there and to enjoy a very nice walk.
