  • It is always relaxing and beautiful to walk in the Bürgerpark. By the way, to visit the small animal park and the guest Gaus Emma Lake is suitable for a delicious Cup of coffee.

  • This is an amazing place to ride a bike as it is so huge. If you have small kids there is a wonderful playground, miniture golf and row boats and not to mention an amazing animal "sanctuary" with deer...  more »
  • It is one of the most beautiful city parks in Bremen. Returning on a foundation of Bremen citizens in the 19th century, the maintenance is also today still privately financed. From the Park Hotel to the dairy farm, you can experience the Park best of early summer until autumn. Boating at the Emma Lake, or horseback riding through the Bürgerpark is suitable with small children. The ways are still similar to in my childhood, although in the guide but the paths were trimmed by a soft forest floor on water-guided way ceiling contemporary, tree care and planting new looks a little dribs. The discovery of the Park is worth of the Findorffer peat harbour – with detour to the Findorffer weekly market - as well as from the Schwachhausener side of the guard quarters. (With the peat boat, the Worpswede/Wümme lowlands of Fischerhude drove artists to Bremen.) In one of the three traditional Cafés in the Park, you should absolutely take break. My favorite is the dairy farm, which is however changing in quality of food and service. The Park and the architecture will be paid for.

  • Loved this park! So big and lots to see around. You can find few restaurants and bars and a very small zoo
  • Beautiful place right in the middle of Bremen city. Lovely to walk / jog and enjoy the nature
  • The park is great! Obviously there are loads of walking paths, scattered playgrounds for the kids, a fitness track and assorted workout setups (pull-up bars, etc) for adult "kids" at the back of the park, and an small zoo (pigs, goats, alpacas, donkeys, deer, sheep, non-German cows, and guinea pigs. A super popular place the locals flock to when the weather is nice! There are also wild deer which live in the park. Beware of ticks when laying in the grass!
  • Really good park. Nice for a good stroll.
  • Beautiful and quite piece of green in the middle of a metropole.
