  • The much-visited Bremen Town Hall was built between 1405-1409. It is the only European City Hall of the late Middle Ages, which was never destroyed. The Bremen Town Hall is used to certify that's at the beginning of the 15th century about the extensive restoration two centuries later up to the cultivation of the new City Hall at the beginning of the 20th century has preserved its authenticity of the first Gothic building - a so-called Hall floor construction -. The building of City Hall at the time demonstrated growing self-confidence of the Urban Council and civil claim to power. Is it worth the subsequent visit to the Ratskeller. Look forward to experiences with exceptional wines. With its over 600th anniversary, the Ratskeller is one of the oldest wine cellars of in Germany.

  • Beautiful town hall in the centre of Bremen. Currently having it's roof replaced so covered in scaffolding, but it's still open for tours which can be booked at the tourist information office on the other side of the square. The type cost about €5 and took about an hour showing us the main rooms of the hall. Worth a look if you have chance
  • Beautiful building in small city worth visiting with friends and picking up a souvenir
  • Wonderful and very European place. The buildings around are amazing.
  • Exquisite old building. A real eye candy!
