  • I had seen the report on television on the Lahn and the Castle Braunfels. Me then on the way did, went to Braunfels Weilburg. There you can see the castle on the mountain. Either we were too early, was us only comic almost no visitors, as a few visitors were interested in the Castle. At the Schloß Arolsen, we were also the only. Many others is different. But the castle can be seen. A gem on the Lahn and absolutely worth seeing.

  • Who is resident in Braunfels, should necessarily look at the Castle and join a guided tour. It is worthwhile in any case. Then there's still the family Museum in the Castle, with old weapons, clothes, personal items, and much more. Also it's worth.

  • We were a large group and have booked therefore a "private" tour. There was the opportunity to do this with a medieval dressed accompaniment. It has been much fun. In the winter you should attract good warm, because the rooms are just so large, that the winter jacket needs to be kept. It is a real attraction, plenty to see and everything is well maintained.

  • Awesome castle that you can tour a potion of the inside. It would have been a bit better if the tour were in English, but we made do!
  • Worth of visit
  • Boring
  • A very nice Castle good views. Not for strollers! Guide to every hour for 50 minutes. Worth definitely times briefly over to look before Weilburg's Zoo visit

  • The castle is beautiful, the tour was what less because there just speaking about the paintings and furniture, no info on the castle itself.
