  • A magical place for all the history lovers. I've been there as a reenactor and I'll definitely come back again. Nature and history.
  • Very informative. Three stars from me, because mostly the Romans are reported, although it was the Germans who won this battle. The battle should therefore also "Arminius battle" called my opinion be ;-). Children's groups have to stay by prior arrangement the way in Roman camps. I hope that the Museum and the historic landscape around be made even more interesting in the future.

  • It was really good there. 3 & 7 children had much fun and many look to and watch. Prices are also totally okay. Here we go again.

  • The Museum stands on historic ground. The guided tour through the exhibition and in the outdoor area is very informative and you get an insight into the story. The outdoor area is well accessible and varied. Sure, there are still many things about the battle in the Earth and waiting to be rescued.

  • The exhibition deals with the battle which should have happened in this place. Thus an interesting hook. The exterior is in itself not so exciting. The exhibition sooner. It will be really good then on selected days when there Roman festivals take place. Then, the exterior becomes the army camp. Original-clad groups were partly well traveled to the Kalkriese. Tents are set up. Craftsmen, fighters there. There are even Italian clubs who arrive as the original Roman Legion. A very interesting spectacle.
