  • The Museum is not far from the A1. It is extremely interesting and ideal times to follow the old story with the children. Staff also points out one of the interesting things. Pure class

  • Well, we were already 2 times at the battle of the Teutoburg Forest. It is always worth a visit and you will discover something new. Unfortunately the weather has not cooperated again and we could not visit always still the grounds. The exhibition with the 3D liked us pictures and we took many pictures. It was there that expressly allowed. With the photos, we have participated in a raffle and now hope to win. In good weather, we'll be back

  • Eiines of the best museums in recent times where we were with our children. The Museum is absolutely to visit smaller children (preschool age). A museum to the touch and "understanding". Most exhibits are in display cabinets which can be well seen by young children, and where this is not the case there are asked "stool" two steps from the Museum at disposal. The Ausengelände is spread out is but an earthworm who accompanied by an entertaining held. All around a great day with the family. This museum is definitely a family friendly.

  • Wunderbahr Bundeswehr!
  • The Museum with the exhibition is ok, but nothing more. A real highlight is not available. The whole thing rather appeals to an adult audience. The outdoor area is disappointed. Those who expected that here some of the excavations much because something about the work of the archaeologists to find is not happy here. A further approach is not worth just for children. After 2 hours we were loose.

  • Done very professionally. Great trained people. Good views and beautiful historical representation

  • Who expects a holiday park with reference to history, will be disappointed. The visit, due to the guided tour, bought me here some insights about what happened at that time in this place. The findings are not the "smoking gun", evidence. I find appealing and informative the presentation of artifacts. I was certainly not the last time here.

  • The second possible place of the battle of the Teutoburg Forest (in competition with Detmold). Modern clear Museum with beautiful grounds. Good gastronomy.
