  • Already outside surprises by its architecture very contemporary but still warm. Collections are ordered by themes and within these themes, the chronology is sometimes pushed for artistic reasons. Anyway, this museum worth visiting and its design to be "meditated".

  • I have no exhibition or even an event attended, need also not leadership but wanted to look at simply the good times and the Romans Department I. Now the collection is unfortunately not always comprehensible themes. For example, I found an altar piece without donor "Reign" hair far-fetched... The mature visitor who comes with a specific interest of the thing, must be then E.g. the Roman remains under "Chronological tour", "Rule", and a religious category (NAme forgotten) to search for and it is difficult to get an overview. Particularly annoying, I found that the great prehistoric and early medieval jewelry under "Eve Beauticase" without label was presented. A Museum is not only a site for children's birthdays, but should show his treasures also due. Definitely worth not 2 x €8 and how to arrive by train

  • We were on a Sunday afternoon here, the visitors have distributed well, so that we could enjoy the exhibitions. Here the rheinische history is starting from the stone age great prepares to art at the present time. Also the special exhibition (Eva's beauty case - jewelry and styling in the mirror of time) was absolutely worth seeing and highly informative. A visit to trained concluding in the restaurant, which is an extra recommendation is worth with its delicious food.
