  • Museum just outside the centre of the city, in direct proximity of the Bonn station and parking. Easy access. Museum very rich and interesting both at the level of the exhibits that the Museum (works more by themes that chronologically, which leads sometimes to pick up some parts but that sometimes allows "dialogues" interesting...). The exposed collections are rich and varied, covering all periods from prehistory to the time contemporary (exhibition of paintings and photographs at the time of our visit). Very didactic and pedagogical: several points are illustrated by montages mutlimedias and interactive but also by the opportunity to "participate" in practice (e.g. a prehistoric dwelling in which children can play, projection of characters on the walls of the prehistoric rooms). Children (child and teenager) and the parents loved it! We stayed there for more than three hours without seeing time pass. Only downside: the cartels and explanations are in German and are not systematically developed. Guidance in English, even summarized, would have been welcome. Otherwise, the Museum is really to recommend during a visit to Bonn.
