  • Many objects from the time of Beethoven, not so much of himself. Small museum, all in German and with an entrance fee of 6.50 also not particularly cheap for what you get.

  • born in ...wurde here, and this House is his Museum. Once the sits 18th century should be torn down, but some valiant citizens knew how to prevent it. Special eye-catcher: Beethoven's can't.

  • Enough to spend two hours charming, even for those who are not particularly attracted by this composer. An excellent audio guide in french greatly helps give meaning to tables, to windows, to instruments etc. A must when you have two days in Bonn.

  • Charming house museum of the great genius of classical music. an absolute must for any stay in the old capital of the FRG. Here it is played more on emotions than anything else but it deserves a careful visit. Surly staff. Time needed 90/120 minutes @gargio76
  • A very olde tourist trap. Not much to be seen beyond the actual building. Been a tourist trap since the 19th century though.
  • Composer's birthplace and childhood home. Inexpensive. No photos inside. A Beethoven Museum.
  • Lots of historic items. Get the audio guide as it includes music.
  • it's a dream come true!! the beethoven's birth house!! there are originals of many sheet music and also the original copy of heiligenstadt testament.
