  • The Tierpark Bochum is small but fine. For a long time, the Park munksjö to present fewer species and to treat larger enclosures the remaining species. So the emphasis is on small mammals, such as lemurs, meerkats and Coatis. In the coastal landscape, seals and penguins can be admired, as well as birds and fish on the North Sea coast. The Reptile House is a special attraction for young researchers, there is a large salt water pool and discover animals of the rain forest. Of course also is a Petting Zoo... Everywhere there is interesting research stations, learning signs and things to try out - E.g. a microscope etc. The new playground is - already a huge climbing landscape made of wood in the style of a Djungellandschaft

  • Centrally located in Bochum. Conveniently connected made. Close to the A40. In closer and another area parking and even the featured Planetarium in close proximity.

  • When weather is nice a good opportunity to observe a few animals. Even in bad weather, the Aquarium House / Fossilium is a good choice. The entrance normally costs 7 euros, children and adolescents 3.50 euro, and dogs are allowed. With the Ruhr top card, we had no cost.

  • Goods as a small family with a child at the age of one and a half years there. The Zoo is really well preserved, much lately made new. Very well suitable for small children as much child justice explains, there are many low display cases or the window go to the bottom. Also available is a large, very modern playground. The Zoo is not too large, to create good with small children. Very much recommended!

  • Goods today in the Bochum Zoo to visit. There was at that time years ago but him even more beautiful in memory had. The enclosures are really nice and that designed Reptile House with lot of love I find incredibly well done how even the seal pool what bottom from before the washer as can be seen from above. Park also now has a new playground of really huge and very nicely designed. The staff there are very friendly and the price of 7 Euro I find absolutely justified because food and personnel costs must be paid for somehow also. Well-kept in large and around a small but really nice Zoo animal park.

  • Small but beautiful zoo at a reasonable price. There's not the typical "big" species watch, but many smaller ones which are otherwise not to see it. The newly built playground is large and varied. To recommend for a half day trip.

  • A very fine, small animal park. If you disregard of it, that this is not a Zoo, the few enclosures are as well placed as in a large Zoo. The atmosphere is very good. Only criticism, the hot dog was too small and the beer is too expensive. Everything else very nice. Much to recommend especially for smaller children.

  • We were last there about 6 years ago and were very impressed. It has done a lot in time and we were pleasantly surprised. The snack has fair prices. The Zoo was very well maintained.
