Make sure your camera is fully charged for your visit of Ruhr-Universität Bochum Botanischer Garten, a sprawling nature lover's paradise covering an area of more than 13 hectares (32 acres). The garden was founded in 1968 and has been continuously expanded and improved. Opened to the public in 1971, the garden now includes tropical, alpine, desert, and savannah houses, as well as a large Chinese garden laid out in a southern Chinese style. Set aside plenty of time to explore the garden's fenced outdoor areas, where plants grow organized into geobotanical regions, such as forests, coasts, meadows, prairies, and marshes. The garden's greenhouses shelter hundreds of species of tropical, subtropical, and alpine plants. • You can park if you drive through the campus, in the relative vicinity of the parking lots of the University objectives. Admission is free, but every euro would be worth it, you would have to pay. Two oases of peace and tranquility in the middle of a big city. In the Botanical Garden greenhouses for tropical and subtropical plants. On cold days a top target. The variety of plants and trees is overwhelming. Highly interesting for visiting with curious children who are at an age, let by it explained something. Alone walk you should certainly allow 4 hours. Take food and drink and the waste disposal please not here.
