Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Bochum
Categories: Gardens, Nature & Parks
Make sure your camera is fully charged for your visit of Ruhr-Universität Bochum, a sprawling nature lover's paradise covering an area of more than 13 hectares (32 acres). The garden was founded in 1968 and has been continuously expanded and improved. Opened to the public in 1971, the garden now includes tropical, alpine, desert, and savannah houses, as well as a large Chinese garden laid out in a southern Chinese style. Set aside plenty of time to explore the garden's fenced outdoor areas, where plants grow organized into geobotanical regions, such as forests, coasts, meadows, prairies, and marshes. The garden's greenhouses shelter hundreds of species of tropical, subtropical, and alpine plants. Use our Bochum trip builder to add Ruhr-Universität Bochum and other attractions to your Bochum vacation plans.

Hey everybody! I am interested in applying for this University. but am a little concerned about my social life over there. It seems that everyone is going to speak in Germany over there! Please, try to write your comments in English so people like me could make a good use of them!
