Make sure your camera is fully charged for your visit of Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum Botanical Garden, a sprawling nature lover's paradise covering an area of more than 13 hectares (32 acres). The garden was founded in 1968 and has been continuously expanded and improved. Opened to the public in 1971, the garden now includes tropical, alpine, desert, and savannah houses, as well as a large Chinese garden laid out in a southern Chinese style.
