  • For a rainy day to visit a good opportunity of this museum. You have the opportunity learn the old mines with all its techniques for the extraction of coal. Also the giant drilling rig can be viewed. By means of elevator it boots up the largest part of the Tower, the rest can be reached via a few steps.

  • The admission price is OK. We had booked that gives a short but interesting insight into working in mining the small lead. From the Tower there is a beautiful view over Bochum following

  • ...anscheinend would have much more to offer the Museum, located in the conversion. We have booked a guided tour with former miners. This was sensational. You get a very good impression about it and about the whole technology behind it as the mining industry has evolved. Also, the view from the tower was great... sensational in good weather!

  • A museum not only to the watch but to the join. So you learn the story of the early life here in the Ruhr area playfully. Visit the groups without a reservation possible. The views of the the Headframe is the culmination of which is management looking over Bochum Museum to visit worth it.
