  • We were on 3 October in the Park. Because of the holiday was also open this Monday. We had to travel to determined, already a day earlier and previously to stay nearby. We could be so even before park opening there. First impression: Firefox 3 euro for parking, I always wonder whether something like this must be. Second impression: the park looks as if nothing more has been invested in recent years here. There were a few new 'attractions', which were consistently not so interesting. Everything that we know from our last visit about 10 years ago, became actually only 10 years older. The one or the other pot color could use the Park. Also the "trappings" is no longer correct, everything looks weathered, paint flaking off, the figures distributed at the Park, which surely contribute to the atmosphere, affect only still has stupid. Third impression: technically are the rides in very good condition. Maintenance is ok. Fourth impression: cheated on the phone. My phone pre-registration question, if everything was open, was with "answered Yes. To do this the impression. The "fun express" did not go. Is on the homepage without giving reasons "must pause unfortunately". The "Santa Fé express" was not, the reason is not known to me. The whole area has been cordoned off. They faced the door locked with chain but only after a walk of approx. 100 metres uphill. A sign at the beginning of the road? Fehlanzeige.Yukan Bullride? Not in operation. Ascent with the chair lift to the Stüppel, Stüppelhütte and Stüppelturm not even in operation. And what I've sorely missed, the monorail, with which one could handle, but not insignificant, climbs in the Park well. But the railway had reached at some point then guess the age limit and was dismantled without substitution. Fifth impression, gastronomy: I have eaten at the park or drinking what I bought there before. But everywhere there was only Fast Food, many selling cabins had closed. Was OK, probably a compromise, because Yes also not too much going on. Sixth impression: despite everything, we have had enough fun to analyze the day not as "lost". It also linked to two other factors. First of all, we paid only half entry with the RuhrTopCard and secondly the Park not so fully and so was very low latency. Conclusion: I certainly don't go all nice to time indulging in nostalgic feelings but again.

  • Very much enjoyed this day out! There were no queues so could easily anywhere in. It was a bit rainy. The attractions are fun, especially the flying eagle and the toboggan run. Especially much to do for younger children. I find the park in a somewhat old and dilapidated state, would do a makeover. Scenery is beautiful!

  • Even if the Park really many places makes a quite ancient and the full impression, so he was basically clean during our visit and the perfect ok was maintained – of the toilets on the trash cans up to the green areas. I can give you only the best reviews to the price / performance ratio. Compared to other competitors in his collar size entry go (at us with RTC only € 13,50 P.p..), parking fee (narrow € 3) and prices for food (Burger, fries & drink menu for € 5.60) consistently clear! The rides and attractions have an appropriate mix, so all from very small to very large what is for. My personal highlights include Trapper slider, wild Eagle, Devils mine and Rio Grande. Weak, we felt the gastronomic offer in the Park. At all stations there is a comparable selection of fast food - there are not alternatives to unfortunately Here I would very much welcome some innovation, because in times of veggies, street food and co, there are certainly a few good additions to make. The food itself was ok - hewn from the stool's us but didn't. Another shortcoming is the show offer from our point of view. What you apparently get down to the annual Horrorfest able to convince little in normal operation. In recent years, again converted to my knowledge and tried out new... Seems no strength of the Fort to be fun. Overall we had a fun day and felt very entertained for the relatively low expenditure. The Park is worth, travel for Hessen and NRWler always a we think...

  • Many great times there when we lived in Werl in 1984 lots of happy times for our children who are now all grown up
  • Fun for all ages
  • Very nice. Not so expensive, like in another parks, without any queue. Not only children although adults liked it a lot.
  • Went 25 years ago and it was brilliant back then!
  • Super day with children aged 4 to 10
