  • Take your time for this trip. The Museum is wonderful. I got to the exposition of Hundertwasser, but also other interesting topics. But still very beautiful views around. Along the Lake laid hiking trails, scenic area

  • This museum is a godsend! Wrapped in a beautiful pre-Alpine landscape directly on Lake Starnberg, it is ideal as a starting point for hikes. In addition to the expressionist exhibition above all the temporary exhibitions are worth. The current Hundertwasser exhibition is not accidental so it shows successful, but among other things have become now burning environmental concerns the unmistakable creative artist with many beautiful examples. At the Pubklikumsandrang you had but would like more space, the images would come to the fore, the lighting of the images (with all understanding for the necessary protection) was also not very beneficial.

  • The Museum was great and very interesting. The restaurant however.... Some of the rudest staff I have encountered in a long time. You really felt like the guests were nothing but an annoyance. The quality of the food was good though. But... hey waiters.... lighten up.
  • Modern art, different experience
  • Nice Museum in an interesting building. Some of the exhibits are interactive. Provides enough entertainment for children. The Museum was badly lit inside when we arrived, and only on demand lamps have been made. One negative point was the friendliness and flexibility of the Lady at the cash register. I bought a few souvenirs at the end (all figures of the same way). As I collect after asked if I could trade one of my selected figures against another, the Lady grimaced and told me it wasn't, but I could also buy the other figure.

  • You have to like modern art. Or just work on leave. The colors play, the characters read. Extremely child friendly site.
