  • Hundertwasser fan of course a must, if you could allow time. Friedensreich Hundertwasser was not only artists but also as philosopher. Commitment to the preservation of the earth be impressive. But the Buchheim Museum offers still more things to do and is beautifully situated on Lake Starnberg. A visit is always possible during the week. When we visited on a Saturday, it was already extremely well attended.

  • We were lucky when we visited this museum because the exhibition of the artist was extended. Very nice collection of all kinds of pieces af art and paintings.  more »
  • Overall a very worth seeing Museum, which is equipped with well known works. In particular the recent works are sometimes something special. But the art is controversial, yes art stands out also. Should you have a visit in any case.

  • The Museum was great and very interesting. The restaurant however.... Some of the rudest staff I have encountered in a long time. You really felt like the guests were nothing but an annoyance. The quality of the food was good though. But... hey waiters.... lighten up.
  • Modern art, different experience
  • Nice Museum in an interesting building. Some of the exhibits are interactive. Provides enough entertainment for children. The Museum was badly lit inside when we arrived, and only on demand lamps have been made. One negative point was the friendliness and flexibility of the Lady at the cash register. I bought a few souvenirs at the end (all figures of the same way). As I collect after asked if I could trade one of my selected figures against another, the Lady grimaced and told me it wasn't, but I could also buy the other figure.

  • You have to like modern art. Or just work on leave. The colors play, the characters read. Extremely child friendly site.
