  • Lovely for the humans. Some animals have lovely enclosures that are suitable as they can be for captive animals. However the rhinos and polar bears really desperately needed more space, so did the ele...  more »
  • Lots of charm this zoo entry not given, but it's worth it, out of all urban, and shopping in the neighborhood

  • Excellent way to spend a morning! Went around on a cold February day but enjoyed it thoroughly. One of the best zoos I have been to! Also it is great value for money.

  • I've been to zoos in Dublin, Blackpool and Chester, South Lakes Safari, and Berlin was by far the best of all. It's a shame to see animals in captivity, but the facilities were excellent. I liked the variety of animals. There was so much to see, it took hours to get around and was good exercise. I really enjoyed the bird house.
  • A great day out for the whole family, with an extensive collections of animal, birds, reptiles and marine life. There were food preparation areas, where you could watch the food/dietary requirements of the animals being prepared. Plenty of places to sit, rest, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. A must see if you are in Berlin, ranging from children to adults, with very low or no walls so even small children could see into most of the animal enclosures, and access for wheelchair users is excellent. Perfect day out for all the family
  • The Zoo is huge. We spent around 5 - 6 hours walking in it and we didn't get to see it all. Very nice for kids. We were two adults in their late 20s and we just loved it. Many animals have a lot of space to wander freely. I would come back here since it's very informative.
  • Most amazing zoo I've ever been to. The grounds are gorgeous and you can get incredibly close to the animals due to the zoo's brilliant trench and moat barrier system. Wish I could have stayed longer!
  • Fantastic Zoo! Beautifully maintained and gorgeously staged scenes for each exhibit. A highlight is the free ranging goats area where you can pet and hand feed them. Also, the playground is huge and keep young kids occupied for hours!
