  • Tierpark Berlin-Friedrichsfelde is by far the most beautiful, which we have ever visited. Not only the size of the beautiful park, but also the biodiversity is staggering. Be aware the Alfred Brehm House, which was redesigned in the past few years should all Yes. It is home to exotic birds big cats such as lions, Tigers, Panthers and Pumas, and in its Center, the Hall of tropical fruit bats and various bats feel. Worth seeing is also the Vari forest, where you often can come close the floating red and black Varis to within a few centimetres in addition to beautiful pachyderms. The Kangaroo system is also accessible. For visitors who do not necessarily want all day running is the possibility to use the own zoo park railroad. You can at each stop--and einstelgen as you like. The dining facilities at the animal park, which there is enough provide sustenance. But there are also plenty of ways to eat his packed lunch on a table on the lawn or in a beach chair sitting. Visit the Berlin animal park should be a must for every visitor to Berlin, you will not regret it.

  • Though it is located in eastern Berlin, you can get there by means of U-Bahn, S-Bahn and bus. It is very extensive, so make sure you have a day time to visit the whole zoo. Finding cafes is not so eas...  more »
  • Really nice Zoo. Not touristy. Nicely laid out. Large park. You can bring fresh all day. Price 13 EUR adults. And highly recommended for young and old.

  • A nice zoo Lot's of Green spots, a beautiful palace and garden at the entrance making this zoo unique, the animals look happy and vital, if you go with children it is important to rent a small wagon (ask the cashier) making it fun for the little ones. it is also highly recommended to bring bathing suits for the kids as there is a water playground in the park. there is also a nice restaurant in the park but the prices are not so comfortable for example if you buy a sausage you pay something like 4€ but you get nothing with it, any extra that you want you pay separately even the ketchup, so plan something like 15€ per person if you want to eat and drink well. For the visit You should plan near about 4-5 hours in your schedule.
  • It's a great zoo, easy to get to as it has its own station and to top it all off: the grounds are so large and green that you forget you're in the city. I spent 5 hours here and still didn't quite manage to see everything
  • Went there on Nov 12, 2016. What I loved: elephants, tigers, polar bear, free mini train ride, trees & parks, the tropical zone Edit: Oh, and there's a beautiful castle inside it :) Feedback: More English descriptions, staff can be more interactive & helpful to guests, orang utans would be a great collection addition
  • I was in Berlin Zoo a few week´s ago and it was not really special. One main bad thing for me was that you see all the time big buildings around the zoo, so you never get a relax feeling, it is all cramped. Yesterday I visited the first time Tierpark Berlin and I was really surprised. It is bigger and you have more space, no big buildings around, just nature. Amazing. The predator-house was my highlight, I had never seen before five swimming tiger, impressive. If you have to decide between these both, I would recommend to choose Tierpark Berlin.
  • "The best zoo we've been to". Stated by my wife so it must be the truth. We spent 5 hours here with fluent ease.
