  • to reach train easily with U to see huge terrain on which you could spend hours, many animal, I in spite of many zoo visits had never seen very nicely created, on some enclosure by wild cats, since I found only the Tigers had much outlet is attached, animal park instead of Zoo really like a park with animals, therefore name I most definitely would make again , when I have more time, great is also, that you can also visit the Schloss Friedrichsfelde in the price incl.

  • In beautiful weather on the animal park. Children and grandchildren packed up and down in the very spacious built facilities. Many lawns invite to the stay and to the Familienpicknik. You may just not make the mistake to control the newly constructed playground with the Wasserplantschanlage with the Grand kids first. You then to inspire to look at the many animals will be something difficult. Much was renovated and rebuilt. However, has not lost the animal park's charm. The feel-good factor is also guaranteed through the modification of the terrace café. Always an experience and like to recommend.

  • Great zoo with plenty of space for animals. For families, certainly a must in Berlin in the large park can safely spend the whole day. Food is somewhat expensive. Maybe bring food themselves. Overall, the Zoo could use a refresher and be something attractive. Well Berlin has not so much money, the airport gobbles up everything. But a visit is worthwhile in any case.

  • A nice zoo Lot's of Green spots, a beautiful palace and garden at the entrance making this zoo unique, the animals look happy and vital, if you go with children it is important to rent a small wagon (ask the cashier) making it fun for the little ones. it is also highly recommended to bring bathing suits for the kids as there is a water playground in the park. there is also a nice restaurant in the park but the prices are not so comfortable for example if you buy a sausage you pay something like 4€ but you get nothing with it, any extra that you want you pay separately even the ketchup, so plan something like 15€ per person if you want to eat and drink well. For the visit You should plan near about 4-5 hours in your schedule.
  • It's a great zoo, easy to get to as it has its own station and to top it all off: the grounds are so large and green that you forget you're in the city. I spent 5 hours here and still didn't quite manage to see everything
  • Went there on Nov 12, 2016. What I loved: elephants, tigers, polar bear, free mini train ride, trees & parks, the tropical zone Edit: Oh, and there's a beautiful castle inside it :) Feedback: More English descriptions, staff can be more interactive & helpful to guests, orang utans would be a great collection addition
  • I was in Berlin Zoo a few week´s ago and it was not really special. One main bad thing for me was that you see all the time big buildings around the zoo, so you never get a relax feeling, it is all cramped. Yesterday I visited the first time Tierpark Berlin and I was really surprised. It is bigger and you have more space, no big buildings around, just nature. Amazing. The predator-house was my highlight, I had never seen before five swimming tiger, impressive. If you have to decide between these both, I would recommend to choose Tierpark Berlin.
  • "The best zoo we've been to". Stated by my wife so it must be the truth. We spent 5 hours here with fluent ease.
