  • Good for photography but worthless for the giant passenger-depth other tourists. Is a place where especially to Kitesurfing is done. Only Ok if you time.

  • Basically, it's an airport, haunt of many locals and fans of kite that I know enjoy kite-flying (often pulls a lot of wind). There are areas in the garden or DIY relaxation areas, on sunny days you can take a nice barbecue (brought from if)

  • The Tempelhof Park, also Tempelhofer Feld called is defined by the grounds of the former Tempelhof airport. One, of course, huge area "middle" of the city, easily accessible by public transport (E.g. subway station "Parade"). The Park is closed to cars (of course), there are cyclists, joggers, walkers, "Dragon tamers" skaters here. Even larger crowds are usually quite well "spread" through the large area, the flair of the former facilities (apron, runways, etc.) gives the Park a very own character. Botanically, the Park is only interesting because since the cessation of flight operations, much was left. There are no trees or bushes or any secluded corners, as akin to the 'normal' parks. This is the advantage that people of many ages appreciate that here raise their kites in the air but at the same time. Or at least try it :-) I can recommend to accompany, to book a guided tour through the former airport terminal before or after the visit. Then, I describe this activity elsewhere.
