  • When one believes that a city has no beach or somewhere to get the feet wet, you have to look further. This is the case of Berlin, which created a beach on a lake. They will not believe that it is one of those paradise with white sand, but it meets and exceeds your throw to the Sun and cooling function.

  • This is a very popular place on hot days. Best is to go late in the afternoon or when the temperature is below 26°c, then you have more chance to enjoy the place with a decent density. The charm from the 1920s remains unchanged.
  • The beach is large, wide and sandy. There's a concession stand with fair-type foods, and on the very far right past the beach a place to rent sports stuff for windsurfing, stand up paddle board or kayaking. The water is super shallow, only waist deep at the far end of the swim area, but it seems that everyone goes out past the signs to swim in deeper water.
  • A family friendly beach, all the infrastructure you might need. You will also find a gay beach and a naturist beach - all within the same complex - so, a really friendly place. It costs 5,5 euro to enter, children below 5 years enter for free. Don't bring any glass bottles, you will have to throw them away at the entrance.
  • Great place for a family day out at the lakes. Has all the facilities you need and really easy to access by S-Bahn from the city
  • Nice place to have fun on beach with all necessary things like shops ,cafes changing room, shower , small cubal chairs to relax and give u shade under the sun. entry costs 4-5 euros .
