  • The amazingly large figure stands in the historical centre of Berlin in the Nikolai district in close proximity to the Nikolai quarter. The sculpture was designed in 1853 by the sculptor August Kiss and 2011 comprehensively restored. The 6-metre high work depicts the Saint George fighting sitting on his horse with the Dragon. Especially liked the extremely detailed design has given me. Here you love lingers for a moment and allows views from different angles over the fighters.
