  • Citadel Spandau Citadel is one of the most important and best preserved fortresses of the High Renaissance in Europe according to Wikipedia, nice view of Berlin from the Julius Tower. Admission € 4.50 adults. Worth a visit.

  • The visit to the Spandau Citadel was very interesting. I recommend renting the audio guide, even though the German language, is known since you are telling you the story in all the points of the Citadel and is really interesting. The area is very nice and quiet. We have been approximately 3 hours traveling and it seems that we have been only 5 minutes! We must climb the tower to enjoy the view. Entrance adult 4,5€, audoguia 2€. You give access to the Citadel, ascent to the tower and to the Museum.

  • Great fortune that the fortress was not damaged in the last war, surrendered it without a fight. In addition to the specific architecture of the fortress now offers visitors a diverse leisure-multiple pavilions with different aspects of the life-history of ancient settlements, a collection of guns, a wonderful collection of military headgear (helmets) 19-20 centuries, informative exposition of monumental sculpture, life in the recent past. We were thrilled-so just a lot and for ridiculous money!

  • Great medieval castle from the 16th century. There you will find authentic casemates, nice collection of german artillery from different centuries and a main Julius tower with excellent view on Spandau district. Definitely worth visiting!
  • Good view over Spandau, Teufelsberg, Berlin. The small museum and access to the tower cost 2.5€. During summertime they have concerts quite often. The floor made of big stones doesn't facilitates wheelchairs and trolleys and there isn't a lift to the museum and tower.
  • A huge edifice with a small museum and a stunning mediaeval tower to climb which offers great panoramic views. You're not going to find masses to do, but at around €4.50 you'll get good value for the hour or so you stay.
  • Went here for lionel Ritchie gig. Venue is ok, easy to move inside, plenty of food options. Need to come back to see the other areas, the museum too
  • A really nice place for tourists. It gives you a good feeling of how living in the past must have been. The place has also some events during the year which are really great because of the surrounding scenery.
