  • It is not a very large Museum, but the contents are very good. I went with my students of 3rd of that and think that they enjoyed learning. It has different themes: light and sound, electricity and magnetism, forces, energy,... Explanations are in German and English. Ideal to go with children.

  • 3 adults in the hell out of tackiness and noise was... basically what is really interesting, just should be expected with drängelnden children, sticky surfaces and a very high noise level! I was dort...das with my Vater(69) and my Partner(34) I was last time I been there myself only 10 years old and probably themselves according to u who is interested in natural sciences and gladly would like to give his children should be sticky... basically, go for the abundance of natural phenomena is wonderfully illustrated and explained, you can touch everything and try it is colorful and lebensnah...nur who rather not available on hordes of children and tourists should be Dear fernhalten...ich am personally for an "adult day" because there is next to me, my father and many who go, try everything, look at and would touch without away gedraengelt to be or to have only the need to wipe off the surface before you touch them because she smeared and glued like in such an institution determines my husband. I think it's wonderful that there are such facilities to convey science to children and to arouse their interest would have been only slightly less stickiness nice... ;-)

  • Nice place to spend a weekend day. But it's quite run down and needs to be renewed. Lots of the stuff does not work properly.
  • Its fun to try all the things in the science centre. Its learning for all generations. The entry price is alright!
  • Really cool way to spend a day with the kids. Lots of interesting exhibits and experiments. We enjoyed the communication and vehicle exhibits the most.
  • This place is ideal for German kids, people from abroad just know that translations ares limited and its very child-oriented.
  • The net exhibit was extensive and not to be missed. A comprehensive look at not only the technology itself, but how we are impacted by our increasingly networked lives, for better and for potentially worse.

Where to stay in Berlin

The Kreuzberg neighborhood near the Oberbaumbrüke bridge is central and full of Berlin icons: street art, a piece of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery, and a proliferation of cafes. Friedrichshain is another option with a hip vibe due to the students who congregate at its cafes and galleries. Consider Mitte as a historic home base. Mitte is the area where almost all of Berlin's well-known buildings are located, and it is within walking distance of Alexanderplatz. For a peaceful residential area, try Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where the streets are lined with boutiques and quiet coffee shops.
