  • I have been to a few science centres in Europe, but still wanted to see this one. Some things are similar or even the same as in other centres, but it still has something different. I liked it more th...  read more »

  • After looking at different childrens museums, we decided to go to the museum of technology which included the spectrum science centre. I wasn't sure which museum would best suit our 21 month old and w...  read more »
  • Fantastic place for a family day-out, especially if the weather is no so good. To see everything you need more than one day. It's best to start with the Spectrum - science experiments.
  • The Science Center Spektrum is ok. But if you only have one day you should spend it all in the Deutsche Technikmeseum next door.
  • I enjoyed it here. The aviation museum is huge with lots of other things to learn too like boats and trains. Even with my fascination in aviation I found the museum very long and boring. So I went to spectrum across the street with the same ticket. Everything there is hands on and you actually learn. Tons of different physics experiments to try yourself. Highly recommend for the science minds or for families with kids
  • I was many times in the Deutsches Technikmuseum: great place, great service ;-) people who are working there are friendly, children oriented, uncomplicated and customer oriented. The Science Center Spectrum is also very interesting. However the service is unfriendly and rules oriented. For example: you can visit the Deutsches Technikmuseum with your handbag. But the Science Center Spectrum does not allow you to visit the museum with your private handbag (even small). They want you to carry your private things in your hands, pockets, plastic bag or you leave your private stuffs in the reception (wallet, passport, mobile,...). The other strange thing is that you feel constantly checked as if they are scared that you will steal or damage something. Very strange place...I will go in the future in the Deutsches Technikmuseum and try to avoid the Science Center Spectrum.
  • One of our favourite museums in a world trip, so many hands-on interactive experiments, loads of different rooms focused on different areas. English descriptions alongside the German which was great. My son is 10 and loved it.
