  • The Schloss Glienicke is beautiful on the Havel located and opposite the German Emperor of Schloss Babelsberg in Potsdam, the residence of Prince Carl's elder brother Wilhelm I. You can visit the castle with guided tour, our guide was great and has many anecdotes and tells about the residents. There are many paintings to see, including a charming by the Lady Princess Marie. In addition to the rooms, there is also the Court gardener Museum. At the end you shouldn't never miss the blooming gardens.

  • One should not miss the small Schloss Glienicke. It is located directly on the beautiful river Havel and in close proximity to the Glienicke bridge ("bridge of spies"). The castle was built by the famous architect Schinkel. Fine furniture and interesting stories about the former "occupier" make the tour (with) very entertaining. There is also a beautiful park and everything is not run over thankfully!

  • Once past the Glienicke bridge go a few meters on the main road. The castle is located immediately on the left. Visit the beautiful gardens is free (free). The visit of the Castle costs 6 euros and she is only in German (I don't have the language and I made the visit, I recommend it warmly).

  • Ordinary schloss like another big buildings in Deutschland . Main thing of this place it's restaurant.
  • we went here for a wedding. it is a breathtakingly beautiful place. The staff were very professional and friendly. It's a short (50m) walk from the closest bus stop and is also very accessible by car. Loved it!
  • really nice atmosphere, outdoor seating. prices slightly higher
  • A very nice and well maintained facility. Not crowded. Very good to relax and switch off.

  • Better restaurant for high demands. Prices of meal correspond to good quality with clear map. Outdoor wood seating for short stay of many park visitors apparently thought. Something priced raised therefore sure soft drinks: 0.4 ml to 5 euros. Should not hold from visiting.

Where to stay in Berlin

The Kreuzberg neighborhood near the Oberbaumbrüke bridge is central and full of Berlin icons: street art, a piece of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery, and a proliferation of cafes. Friedrichshain is another option with a hip vibe due to the students who congregate at its cafes and galleries. Consider Mitte as a historic home base. Mitte is the area where almost all of Berlin's well-known buildings are located, and it is within walking distance of Alexanderplatz. For a peaceful residential area, try Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where the streets are lined with boutiques and quiet coffee shops.
