Art Museum
View contemporary art in a former air-raid bunker at Sammlung Boros - Boros Bunker - Boros Collection. The bunker was built by Nazi-forced labor in 1942, and over the decades it has been used as a prison, a warehouse, a nightclub, and a theater. After extensive renovations that ended in 2008, the building now houses the Boros collection of contemporary art, which includes sculptures, installations, and light performance pieces by some of Europe's most prolific artists working today. You can only visit the collection Thursday to Sunday as part of a private tour, which must be booked through the gallery's website. • out of the whole beaten after many stays in Berlin I booked a tour (only on booking the weekend at fixed times online) this old bunker air transformed into contemporary art gallery ultra sharp who made beautiful place for facilities. pretty hair-raising experience but not the scope of all, saw the very conceptual side of the works. the advantage is that guided tours in small groups allows to see and stay in front of works quietly at years lights of the crush of major exhibitions. brutalist architecture lovers will be also filled by the transformation of the bunker in place of expo. as a souvenir for those who knew Berlin in 1992 it was for a few months a nightclub techno!

  • The Boros Sammlung is very exclusively open and you'll need to reserve up front. It's a unique location and not so crowded, so that was for me the most impressive. The artworks left me wondering about...  more »
  • Have used the opportunity to visit the art bunker on a day without registration. The bunker is great. The price of 12,00 euros is borderline. Would have been worth a visit the exhibition, you could have accepted maybe's, but what gave us himself, is the pure rip off. Maybe the other exhibitions are more demanding. What diesmanl was issued, was an absolute "bullshit"! Bad photographs of partially naked people or messy houses... Trash can... auggestellte speaker, in a monotonous buzz da rumstehen...u.s.w.! The architecture of the bunker far exceeded the heap of garbage. You had the feeling that the objects from recycling waste no longer fit in the basement and had to be outsourced. There was no written representations on the walls, or as a flyer. Art is relative, but art comes from can and do not dispose of! Very, very sad!

  • Just go on the website, book, (wait two months) and take the tour. It would be worth it even just for the building. The art collected by Boros in here is relevant and very interesting to explore.
  • good place to exhibit arts. but the guide of this museum speak about art works too much to fell the modern art's power.
  • Very cool experience. In addition to being a cool space with predominantly interesting work, the docents are also extremely helpful, knowledgeable and approachable. Highly recommended.
  • This is a must visit in Berlin. You need to have a reservation because they only take batches of 12 people at a time. Great art in an iconic building.
  • A great contemporary art collection in a great location!
