Ramones Museum, Berlin

(4.5/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web)
Music fans should head to Ramones Museum, the first and only museum dedicated to the Ramones, a punk-rock band. Walk through the exhibition's more than 300 items of memorabilia from 1975 to 1996, which are displayed in chronological order. Follow the Ramones' development and discover previously unpublished photos, autographed posters, band members' clothing, and more. Give yourself enough time to grab a beer at the onsite cafe and hang out. The museum also hosts special events, such as movie screenings and small concerts. Check online to see if any of these coincide with your visit. Plan to visit Ramones Museum and other customer-reviewed, writer-recommended Berlin attractions using our Berlin trip itinerary builder.

  • Small disappointment: the Museum is empty! A new location is under development. However, the welcome is friendly and encourages to come back in a month or two.

  • Only a small museum but a must for any Ramones fan, you can wander around the museun and then have a coffee and cake or a beer in the little cafe.
  • The front of the bar, at the back of the ramones memoriaalia a lot. Fan will bring a good vibe in the 1970-80 's cult band.

  • The most comprehensive history of the Ramones you can get. Full of memorabilia and items that spans their careers. Also hosts live music and the walls in the seating area are covered in signatures and names of bands and artists that have played or visited. Really cool atmosphere and nice to drink on the street outside on the benches and seats. Cheap beer too!
  • So much to see! Great place to go in Berlin! I am not a Ramones fanatic, but I loved this museum. Tons to look at. Newspaper clippings, t-shirts, album covers, videos, books, photos--you name it, this place has it. Cappuccino was excellent. Muffins were not fresh. Wish they had plain NY cheese cake. Vegan options available. Paid 6 euros, covered 4.50 admission and drink. So worth it. Checkout the visited-by wall for pictures of famous people. Super fun and cheap! Oh, the price of admission includes a free button!
  • Almost every information about the ramones. A really nice café in the front with vegan cakes and coffee and other stuff. Totally worth it!!
  • I like the atmosphere they created here. It's small but to me that's not a bad thing when it comes to museums. Cheap to get in.
  • Awesome! Back in the history! Worth every penny! And you got a beer! Gabba Gabba Hey!
