Categories: Specialty Museums, Museums
Inspirock Rating:
4.5/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web
Music fans should head to Ramones Museum, the first and only museum dedicated to the Ramones, a punk-rock band. Walk through the exhibition's more than 300 items of memorabilia from 1975 to 1996, which are displayed in chronological order. Follow the Ramones' development and discover previously unpublished photos, autographed posters, band members' clothing, and more. Give yourself enough time to grab a beer at the onsite cafe and hang out. The museum also hosts special events, such as movie screenings and small concerts. Check online to see if any of these coincide with your visit. Plan to visit Ramones Museum and other customer-reviewed, writer-recommended Berlin attractions using our Berlin trip itinerary builder.

  • Museums like this are the essence of Berlin. Punk rock like it or not, is the inescapable even for a coffee.

  • So much to see! Great place to go in Berlin! I am not a Ramones fanatic, but I loved this museum. Tons to look at. Newspaper clippings, t-shirts, album covers, videos, books, photos--you name it, this place has it. Cappuccino was excellent. Muffins were not fresh. Wish they had plain NY cheese cake. Vegan options available. Paid 6 euros, covered 4.50 admission and drink. So worth it. Checkout the visited-by wall for pictures of famous people. Super fun and cheap! Oh, the price of admission includes a free button!
  • A lot of newspaper and magazine chippings, memorabilia of all sorts - not just merch - and a bar, pics of celebs who've visited (including Johnny Marr, bless) and a documentary, Joey's entertainment center (!) and loads of other stuff... It's cheap, too. You can even pick up a copy of Rhino's "Anthology" as signed by 6 of the Ramones, just pay €600 and you're good to go!
  • Staff appropriately moody when i was there, coffee was great and they had a terrific music playlist that very nicely banked left and right of the spectrum if you see the Ramones as the middle. Would spend time working there again.
  • Not really a fan of the Ramones, but a friend is. That's why we went.... But I was pleasantly surprised, really nice café with a small museum for the fans
  • Really liked this. Obviously a persons passion, but some great memorabilia, coffee shop has good coffe and a nice vibe. As a huge Ramones fan, I loved this. Even saw fliers for the '91 Brixton Dammed Ramones show I went to :-)
