  • Booked well in advance through the site and the only possible day was our departure p Warsaw. So we mark the first time and it totally holds. All we enjoyed the visit that restricted the increase in dome (Dome) of Parliament, a modern building in the middle of a traditional building, guided in Portuguese, counting a little more the history and operation of the German Parliament. Excellent!

  • While visiting, I faced verschlossenenen doors 2 years ago! Well, I had luck, but what disappointment, the 1990 by Ben Wargin-created artwork for the reminder of the victims of the wall seems to wither away! No maintenance of the plant! Unfortunately too little info boards, while there would be this exposed places so much to tell! Still, it remains a landmark of the city!

  • The site offers guided tour in several languages, but it is necessary to schedule with sooo advance. It's amazing the Organization and the importance of transparency to Parliament. Modern. You can also make a visit to the dome of the Parliament. Self guided tour in several languages. Works until the 24 hours, but the most interesting is to do with daylight, because the view is great.

  • Once the wall between East and West Berlin was almost exactly in this place - specifically the parts of the wall were only 50 meters away. But the conceptual and performance artist Ben Wagin clinched the tangled after turnaround times - that is the terrain on the former death strip with the gingko trees - and opened his "Parliament of trees close to the Reichstag Today is Wagin, who celebrated his 86th birthday March 2016, only rarely to see. A pity, because Berlin tourists coming back for more as the only place in Berlin's Centre, where more than a few parts of the original wall stand. There are 113 of them after all! Decorated it has the artist with think sayings. My favorite: "no art can't with policy, but perhaps with art policy."

  • Summer, high season, beautiful weather and the gateway to the Parliament is closed 11: 15 A.m. on Saturdays! No opening times, nothing!? Sad!

Where to stay in Berlin

The Kreuzberg neighborhood near the Oberbaumbrüke bridge is central and full of Berlin icons: street art, a piece of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery, and a proliferation of cafes. Friedrichshain is another option with a hip vibe due to the students who congregate at its cafes and galleries. Consider Mitte as a historic home base. Mitte is the area where almost all of Berlin's well-known buildings are located, and it is within walking distance of Alexanderplatz. For a peaceful residential area, try Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where the streets are lined with boutiques and quiet coffee shops.
