  • The model Park Berlin-Brandenburg is located in the beautiful Wuhlheide. Something hidden, but this already quiet, far away from the hustle and bustle and noise of the City Berlin. Best take the S-Bahn/tram until you get to the station Hall master trail. From there, a paved path leads directly up to the model Park. Arrived at the Park, it looks somewhat unimpressive at first glance. Has you enter the Park however and considered himself in 1:25 held models, one will quickly clear how much work and love here in the game. It shows interesting buildings from Berlin and Brandenburg en miniature. Including the Reichstag, victory column, Brandenburg Gate, Citadel Spandau, Grdäcgtniskirche and some other interesting castles, churches, etc. Each model is hand work, and is manufactured by lay people with love and more accurate precision. You can relax in the Park stroll, relax on one of the numerous benches, there is also an area with tables and chairs. There are of course ice cream, cold drinks and coffee. Whether the student is now open I don't unfortunately, during my last visit was just worked and it was closed. The staff of the Park are relatively friendly, pay attention but also very sure that the models not touched and damaged. You can book a tour for little money, they should but call ahead order or login. All in all the model Park Berlin-Brandenburg is worth a trip for the whole family and good for a relaxing day in a quiet green setting.

  • In my opinion, very good help when choosing attractions that are worth a visit in Berlin and beyond. Although, like, here is missing some important landmarks of Brandenburg, in particular, the monasteries of Corin and Lenin. Unfortunately, personally verify failed, as from November to March the Park is closed. Accessible from the station Karlshorst on foot takes twenty minutes, the tram is not much easier way, as the nearest stop Hegemajsterveg (tram 21, 27, 37, M17) still remains walk ten minutes (especially if you are with kids).

  • 2 - 4 train+tram changes away from center but we had really nice time here. Nice models, kids' park/activities and a picnic area. Check the weather forecast!  more »
