  • To the 05.07 I've finally managed, to explore the human Museum in Berlin. The staff were very friendly and have assigned us a well. The audio guides there for free and I can recommend it to everyone. I have very carefully looked at initially each exhibit and belongs to the audio commentary. Especially fascinated me has the comparison of the two skeletons at the entrance. It's really exciting to see disease which has so far only heard or seen from the outside as a layman, from the inside. Also on the Ganzkörperplastinaten, which are very aesthetically, the anatomy can be seen very well. But the people Museum teaches not only about the anatomy, but also about how much luck we have to be on the world and how you deliberately should respect as a human being on themselves and others. Not only something for the head, but also for the heart. At my next Berlin visit, I come back like and schedule even more time.

  • The boys had picked up flyers at the airport for this museum, and it seemed like one that we all wanted to see and it was really central too. It was expensive to get in 37 euros for 3 adults and 1 chi...  more »
  • Seldom an exhibition so has impressed me like this. You get insights into the body, it can sell a book etc. Hats off to the creators of these works of art. Well, the asides about the increasing self destruction of many people (obesity, drugs, etc.). For me, it's a must-see for every student in Germany. The Berlin Senate apparently wants to prevent this exhibition, I'm stunned. Just in the oh-so-liberal Berlin prude like nowhere else in the world, where this exhibition was one shows himself. Shame on you! So, by all means go and leave the other so-called "tourist attractions" of Berlin only time left! Don't run away, but as an exhibition is unique!

  • This is what people complain about? Seriously, get a life. That's just a wonderful way to learn about your very own body. I would have hoped the exposition was bigger, though.
  • small. more arty and then scientific. great technical skill but it feels like the bodies have been disrespected. Not a place for the science minded or doctor. I was looking for beauty in the human body but didnt find it
  • A really impressive way to see how our bodies work and look inside. Definitely worth seeing. It's location basically in the base of the famous TV tower makes it even more attractive if you are a tourist. There is a discount if you have an ISIC card.
  • It is a perfect way to know how your body works. It makes you think about your health and motivates you to make something about it. Visit the museum. You can the average of the discount by using the Berlin Welcome Card.
  • Absolutely a must see. You will receive insights of the human body like you have never seen before. They even provide a audio guided tours.

Where to stay in Berlin

The Kreuzberg neighborhood near the Oberbaumbrüke bridge is central and full of Berlin icons: street art, a piece of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery, and a proliferation of cafes. Friedrichshain is another option with a hip vibe due to the students who congregate at its cafes and galleries. Consider Mitte as a historic home base. Mitte is the area where almost all of Berlin's well-known buildings are located, and it is within walking distance of Alexanderplatz. For a peaceful residential area, try Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where the streets are lined with boutiques and quiet coffee shops.
