Mauerpark, Berlin

(4.2/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Established by city officials as a green space after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Mauerpark contains a piece of the former barrier between East and West Germany. Take a walk past traces of the Wall from Behmstrasse along Norwegerstrasste toward Bornholmer Strasse. You can also see remnants while walking along Bernhauser Strasse from Eberswalder Strasse in the direction of the Berlin Wall Memorial. At the memorial, peruse the flea market for vinyl records, East German memorabilia, or new and vintage fashion. • A very cool Sunday experience. From 10 in the morning until 18 o'clock of the evening, musicians, magicians, illusionists, stalls of antiques, clothes and food invade the Park. In those months of cold them stalls, as well as the environment is reduced to more than the half. We toured there, we saw graffiti painting the wall, ate at one of the food stalls and take a hot wine

  • It is the plan of every Sunday in Berlin. By the afternoon is better, there are more people singing and in the area of the Park. The market has all sorts of antiques and things to buy. There is a food with a variety of dishes: from currywurst to argentina to vegan food through food. In the area of the park there are music and karaoke is very funny, in summer with a beer perfect.

  • Great flea market every Sunday. You can find vintage clothes, accessories, cameras and any kind of weird stuff. If you're a tourist you should definitely go.
  • The Sunday market is great. Lots of good food and articles. You can find almost anything. Try the arepas for some tasty south american food. Just go hangout with the different performances and the famous karaoke (around 3pm)
  • Almost all shops (except restaurants) are closed on Sundays, making this a very good Sunday activity (it's only open on Sundays anyways). There are also Karaoke sessions at 3PM which honestly you have to experience it to know it.
  • Love the place. Specially on Sundays, super lively with lot's of variety of food to buy and live free music
