Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.2/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web
Established by city officials as a green space after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Mauerpark contains a piece of the former barrier between East and West Germany. Take a walk past traces of the Wall from Behmstrasse along Norwegerstrasste toward Bornholmer Strasse. You can also see remnants while walking along Bernhauser Strasse from Eberswalder Strasse in the direction of the Berlin Wall Memorial. At the memorial, peruse the flea market for vinyl records, East German memorabilia, or new and vintage fashion. • On Sunday we wandered around the many stalls. .Lots of food and drink, 2nd hand items, furniture, plus hand made items, souvenirs etc
  • Stayed here with my girlfriends on Sunday morning stroll. Great flea market, great atmosphere, lots of homemade. Bags, jewelry, pen and paper. Found very cute earrings. We certainly come again during our next visit to Berlin.

  • Go to the flea market Sunday is a highly recommended experience, it is no less true that there are more markets on Sunday in many places of Berlin, but perhaps this is the most representative. We bought a few gifts at good prices.

  • Berliners embrace their green spaces and the long strip of grass along the middle of Prenzlauer Berg’s Mauerpark (open daily from 8am–sunset) is best known not as a relaxing spot but a mecca for energetic market-lovers. The park hosts a massive flea market on Sundays, with vendors selling bargain bicycles, clothes, food, souvenirs, records, pianos and furniture.
  • The Sunday fleamarket is great. It's always lively with performers and various food trucks to grab a bite. You can spend a few hours here and even more if it's sunny.
  • If it's sunny you have to come here, especially at the weekend with the famous Berlin Karaoke . superb atmosphere, music, performers , flea market. And of course the remaining part of the Berlin wall
  • Great on a Sunday, very busy, carnival atmosphere and cool Flea Market
  • The best thing to do on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The fleamarket offers everything you wish for and more, coffee, street food and everything else you expect at a fleamarket. There also is a live karaoke going on everyday in between 3 and 8pm.
