(750+ reviews on the web)
Nature / Park
Established by city officials as a green space after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Mauerpark contains a piece of the former barrier between East and West Germany. Take a walk past traces of the Wall from Behmstrasse along Norwegerstrasste toward Bornholmer Strasse. You can also see remnants while walking along Bernhauser Strasse from Eberswalder Strasse in the direction of the Berlin Wall Memorial. At the memorial, peruse the flea market for vinyl records, East German memorabilia, or new and vintage fashion. • Great flea market every Sunday. You can find vintage clothes, accessories, cameras and any kind of weird stuff. If you're a tourist you should definitely go.
  • The Sunday market is great. Lots of good food and articles. You can find almost anything. Try the arepas for some tasty south american food. Just go hangout with the different performances and the famous karaoke (around 3pm)
  • Almost all shops (except restaurants) are closed on Sundays, making this a very good Sunday activity (it's only open on Sundays anyways). There are also Karaoke sessions at 3PM which honestly you have to experience it to know it.
  • Love the place. Specially on Sundays, super lively with lot's of variety of food to buy and live free music
