  • We paid only 16 euros, as our 3 children do not pay, to discover the villa on the Wannsee Lake from Max Liebermann as well as some of his works and an exhibition on the first baths allowed in the Lake. It was both interesting, beautiful and peaceful. To read the English or German to understand the cartridges, but there is a small explanatory document in french given at the entrance. We had a delightful and instructive afternoon. Children played on the lawn of the villa and don't want to leave. We took the space of a few hours in the garden of a holiday home of the richest Germans from the beginning of the 20th century.

  • Beautiful paintings flowery for travelers ignoring the artist and great view of the Lake, next to the House of the Wanssee Conference. Very fast with the S-BAHN from Berlin, then walk or bus 114

  • As always, my following description is my personal opinion. Thanks to many donations and grants the Liebermann-Villa and the garden could be restored almost so, as she once was. It is a change in the time. One cannot compare the garden of its kind with such as the garden does not rise mansions gardens, the claim but also, it is a commercial and ornamental garden. The current at the time in the Interior of the Villa exhibition "Sport" in Liebermann's works, is interesting, but not for everyone. The gardens to the Wannsee is beautiful and if one knows his pictures, you will rediscover many things. The weather has helped of course its part to reside there for to long.

  • A crazy piece of nazi history. I highly recommend visiting this small but packed with information historical museum. Be sure to go down the back house garden and enjoy the quiet beautiful view on the Wannsee
  • Incredibly beautiful grounds. The exhibits are interesting too, but the flower garden up front and the creative, peaceful grounds out back on the water are absolutely stunning.
  • Guided tour and food in café. Cold outside on 30th December but will be lovely in spring and summer. Exhibition of work of artist Liebermann and good computer presentation too. Good bilingual material.
  • Worth a visit, interesting history, beautiful garden
  • Famous painter Max Lieberman villa

Where to stay in Berlin

The Kreuzberg neighborhood near the Oberbaumbrüke bridge is central and full of Berlin icons: street art, a piece of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery, and a proliferation of cafes. Friedrichshain is another option with a hip vibe due to the students who congregate at its cafes and galleries. Consider Mitte as a historic home base. Mitte is the area where almost all of Berlin's well-known buildings are located, and it is within walking distance of Alexanderplatz. For a peaceful residential area, try Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where the streets are lined with boutiques and quiet coffee shops.
