  • After visiting the summer villas of Max Lieberman I have mixed feelings. I, as a Jew, I understand and deeply sympathize and soprezhivaju his fate. His life as an artist is pretty inconsistent, filled with finding himself in the art of painting, of ups and downs. His life as a man full of tragedy. Impressionism died at the turn of the century. Lieberman arrived late. Yes and no in German Impressionism the lightness characteristic of his classics. Does not accept Impressionism nor clear lines, no borders, no ocherchenyh black. And "German" without clear lines and borders. He tried to imitate the man and Renuars, but his paintings came out heavy and loaded with meaning. And true Impressionism should flit butterfly. So Impressionism I Lieberman not to their liking. Yes and the best of his canvases are elsewhere. Especially coming for the sake of this museum is not worth it. Yes you have, and will not work. Align the walk along the banks of Wannsee and picturesque street Am Grossen Wannsee with a visit to Villa Liebermann, Wannsee Conference House and lunch on the shore of Lake Seehaase in the restaurant. The perfect option!

  • A peaceful atmosphere prevails here. The cottage garden is beautiful and benches invite you to linger. Displayed images are something little. It is nice that the history of the House on many panels is described.

  • Very rewarding for a small trip. Beautiful garden with views of the Lake, the exhibition on the first floor shows Liebermann.

  • Beautiful exhibition, beautiful location on the Lake. Very good I found really interesting, the described history of the House. In the summer on a Café here.

  • Nice ensemble, abundant pensioners visit. Featured exhibition "Berlin beer gardens". The Liebermann-garden salad looks just like salad in each garden.
