It is very funny and has many activities. However, it is recommended for small children. Our son has 10 and some activities not really liked.

We visited Berlin for a few days and found this was a great was for my son to "let off steam" after being all grown up looking at sights all morning. I'd say 2-3 hours is enough to do the place justic...  more »

  • Far too crowded of families, you cannot walk without stepping into someone. Very bad air circulation, dirty and a stuffy smell inside
  • Was an amazing and enjoyable experience - really nice and knowledgable staff as well as great lego exhibits inside. Wish there were more rides (but it is quite a small building though). There were a few small rides inside which were cool to see (the medieval one was slow but had awesome special effects such as feeling hot going near a dragon) and the store was reasonably priced. It was nicely located next to the Sony Centre. The 3D exhibits weren't in any language (great for non-German speakers) but the food was expensive and yeah, just the typical rip off thing.
  • Went there with my 4 y.o. son. From outside it looked very small but than we realised that all the "action" is underground. He enjoyed it a lot, for me it was actually interesting too. I expected to see a bigger Lego shop and if you go on weekend be ready to stand in a queue (outside, maybe with rain). So it's better to get there right to the opening.
  • Kids were very happy to be here, we spent close to 3h and this remained one of the landmarks of our Berlin city break. The laser room and the vehicle test rails were their favorites.
  • My daughter loves it here. Lots of things to do educationally.

Where to stay in Berlin

The Kreuzberg neighborhood near the Oberbaumbrüke bridge is central and full of Berlin icons: street art, a piece of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery, and a proliferation of cafes. Friedrichshain is another option with a hip vibe due to the students who congregate at its cafes and galleries. Consider Mitte as a historic home base. Mitte is the area where almost all of Berlin's well-known buildings are located, and it is within walking distance of Alexanderplatz. For a peaceful residential area, try Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where the streets are lined with boutiques and quiet coffee shops.
