  • This is the area adjacent to the Philharmonic, excellent museums. Say "Cultural Forum" belt kata is so shunned by the academic image, but it doesn't. It looks too wide-not seem just a simple one-story building is spreading, so it appears unfriendly staff. "Picture gallery" is a must visit. Close to Potsdamer Platz, close to the downtown area, very Berlin.

  • Nevertheless, the large square with its granite slabs acts somewhat uncomfortable. About him, to get to the Central Fund for the museums and exhibitions. Opposite is the Philharmonie by Hans Scharoun (and the musical instruments Museum) and on the other side of the Macdonald Church by student of Schinkel Stüler, behind the new National Gallery by Mies van der Rohe, which is currently under restoration. You can reach the square bus M48 and M85, stop Cultural Forum.

  • A lot there to be seen. Only the Gemäldegalerie takes at least 2 hours without giving to see everything. Very near is the Potsdamer platz. Get ready to walk and return to the Kulturforum other days because a little.

  • Lots of important works here, it's large. It's also quiet, being out of the way. However it's a modern building and this detracted a bit for me. Also like a rabbit warren, you'll get lost easily
  • Good gallery, but Saturday queue at ticket counter way too long...
  • The Berlin Kulturforum, with its museums, concert halls, libraries and institutes, is one of the most important cultural sites of Germany. Many well-known and unique institutions are located here, including the New National Gallery, designed by architect Mies van der Rohe, and the Philharmonie and Chamber Music Hall - home of the famous Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the Neue Staatsbibliothek (Berlin State Library) with its sensational reading room and, last but not least, the Gemäldegalerie, which has one of the most important collections of old masters worldwide.
  • Great place to visit
  • Strange place. Paintings are Ok, like Prado or Louvre, but not so big museum, and it's good. But no comments on English near paintings, only in German. Is it XXI century now ? Audiogide is available in English, but not all pictures are listed and it's longer process to listen comments.
