  • Arrived very early in Berlin with a rather cold and foggy weather, we went in this museum. Well made us it! We have stayed there 3 hours dazzled by the prestigious collection of the Berlin art gallery: works from the 15th to the 18th century. Rich!

  • Berlin's Kulturform is a complex devoted to the arts. I went there to see El Siglo de Oro. The Age of Velázquez, one of several art exhibitions. Over 130 masterpieces from Spain's golden age (the 17th...  more »
  • This is the area adjacent to the Philharmonic, excellent museums. Say "Cultural Forum" belt kata is so shunned by the academic image, but it doesn't. It looks too wide-not seem just a simple one-story building is spreading, so it appears unfriendly staff. "Picture gallery" is a must visit. Close to Potsdamer Platz, close to the downtown area, very Berlin.

  • Lots of important works here, it's large. It's also quiet, being out of the way. However it's a modern building and this detracted a bit for me. Also like a rabbit warren, you'll get lost easily
  • Good gallery, but Saturday queue at ticket counter way too long...
  • The Berlin Kulturforum, with its museums, concert halls, libraries and institutes, is one of the most important cultural sites of Germany. Many well-known and unique institutions are located here, including the New National Gallery, designed by architect Mies van der Rohe, and the Philharmonie and Chamber Music Hall - home of the famous Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the Neue Staatsbibliothek (Berlin State Library) with its sensational reading room and, last but not least, the Gemäldegalerie, which has one of the most important collections of old masters worldwide.
  • Great place to visit
  • Strange place. Paintings are Ok, like Prado or Louvre, but not so big museum, and it's good. But no comments on English near paintings, only in German. Is it XXI century now ? Audiogide is available in English, but not all pictures are listed and it's longer process to listen comments.
