Where to stay in Berlin

The Kreuzberg neighborhood near the Oberbaumbrüke bridge is central and full of Berlin icons: street art, a piece of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery, and a proliferation of cafes. Friedrichshain is another option with a hip vibe due to the students who congregate at its cafes and galleries. Consider Mitte as a historic home base. Mitte is the area where almost all of Berlin's well-known buildings are located, and it is within walking distance of Alexanderplatz. For a peaceful residential area, try Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where the streets are lined with boutiques and quiet coffee shops.

  • They serve no-nonsense currywurst here. The wurse was tasty and had a crispy outer-edge while the fries were fried to perfection. Loved how cheap the prices were. Definitely let this be your currywurs...  more »
  • Ofcourse we had to try 'the best currywurst in town'. Don't know if it was actually the best but it was very good and the whole atmosphere around it was just a 'must do'. All people come for currywurs...  more »
  • Germany is good in so many things, but my favorite amongst them, beer and sausages! Located in a busy area of Berlin, under a railway station, you can find this food stall. Currywurst is the must try ...  more »

  • Absolutely delicious. My friend told me about this place that serves great Currywurst. I was happy to find out they had a vegan version, and tried that out - it was fantastic. Very delicious and filling. If you like fake meat and want to try a Berlin specialty, you must come here.
  • Probably the best curry wurst you can get in berlin. Located a bit farther from centre but a definite eat if you are in Berlin. Quite close to Berlin war memorial so you can do these toegther.
  • One of the best currywurst places in town. But also very well known for the fact, so you might have to queue a while.
  • Simply the best "Currywurst" in town. Delicious. And they also have a wind-and-rain-proof seating area. So don't worry about the cold in winter!
  • Had the Vegan currywurst with a side of fries. It's not bad but I could not tell the difference between this place and another I had a day earlier.
