Kaufhaus des Westens (KaDeWe), the largest department store in the world, houses eight floors of merchandise. The elegant building was erected in 1905. Peruse dozens of high-end brands at the aptly named Luxury Boulevard on the ground floor. Then, head upstairs to check out state-of-the-art electronics and home decor. Don't miss having lunch in the glass-enclosed winter garden restaurant. It's on the top floor and overlooks the famous Wittenbergplatz. An amazing shop- old fashioned & I am sure too uneconomic so it will become like the big shop on Oxford Street. A series of small outlets. Enjoy it whilst you can. A huge selection of wonderful... more »

One of the best shopping experiences, there is nothing you can't find here. Personally we like it much better than Harrod's for example. Must visit: Veuve Clicquot Champagne bar on the 6th floor. more »

High end and luxury shopping on a massive scale. Probably more people browsing than actually buying but easy to kill some time in if your credit card won’t stretch to purchasing anything. The food... more »

This is the best store in Berlin! Everything you could ever want is here. Each floor is unique and different. The men’s floor is amazing with every designer you could imagine. If you want high end, just head go straight to the main floor! You will not regret shopping here! Picked up these beautiful Christian Louboutin shoes ❤️ I highly recommend!

Fantastic place to visit as a tourist. To have such a collection of high end brands in one building is a must see. I particularly recommend visiting the floor section on the top floor - fresh food on show alongside local and international brands. All mixed among excellent places to eat. The chicken and beer restaurant is a must visit!!!

Berlin's most exclusive department store is definitely worth a visit. Many of the world's top brands are available here. Prices are high, and you won't see many discounted or sale items on the racks. For the most part, this is luxury shopping for the wealthy. Shop assistants are available to help shoppers, and English is widely spoken. The Food Hall on the sixth floor is truly amazing, and offers treats of all kinds from around the world. There is a fancy pants self-serve cafeteria/restaurant on the top floor. Toilet facilities are not complimentary. This store is Germany's answer to Harrod's. Recommended.

At one time, the largest shopping center in Europe. My wife and I did not pursue the goal of buying something here, but rather came here for reconnaissance, to see what it was like. This shopping center is truly impressive with its size and variety of shops. We were only in one of it's wings and spent a lot of time walking here. I believe that if your goal, or one of the goals, boutiques or shops that are above the "street level" - this shopping center is must see.

Cool department store. The food court area on the top floor is pretty neat as well. The presentation of the deserts was amazing. The flavor was decent, not as impressive. But still an overall beautiful store and great experience. We tried the currywurst here as well. Must try while in Berlin.
