  • ♥the rise in this magnificent Tower is easy and very worthwhile. The reward for this exercise is the wonderful views of the Grunewald which, Gatow, Kladow, direction to Wannsee and over the entire green lung of my home ♥ my first visit ran Havel titled "IM Grunewald is wood auction". ♥ There once upon a time there was Berlin gathered not only the coal by falling trains, but they gathered...... ♥

  • More than 110 years ago was "Emperor Wilhelm Tower", today inaugurated the Grunewaldturm. On many levels, it goes up approx. 86 m. From the platform, you have a great view over the Havel, the Grunewald forest until after Trebbin South Berlin, Brandenburg in good weather. You will receive an oversized Kaiser Wilhelm in a dome with mosaics. The ascent is rewarded by a panoramic view.

  • If you would like to have a different look on Berlin and is happy in the Greens, the Grunewaldturm is a wonderful thing. The view is simply absolutely great! In good weather you can see the entire skyline of the city; up to the tower. Right down on the Tower, there is a restaurant with a beer garden (with self service). In the Tower admission ticket even a coupon for the restaurant was included. Tower and ascent are in very good condition. A bus stop (bus 218) is located almost directly in front of the tower. Tip: Upon arrival with BVG 218 on the historic bus watch line, which each is used in a round. This is also a great fun!

  • Lovely building and surroundings by the lake, definitely worth the effort to visit if you're in the area. Beware (like most places) it is not open on Sundays.
  • There is a round trip you can do with your bike through the forest of Grunewald. You drive with the train untill S-Bahnhof Grunewald and from there the ride bike will be explained by indications. You will have not only a pleasant trip through a shadowy forest but also pass by the lake of the devil (Teufelssee) and see the historical landmark of the Grunewaldturm. From the tower you have a splendid view all over the city and the nature.
  • Tower, restaurant and Biergarten in Grunewald forest with a look down to river Havel
  • Eat expensive and not the map accordingly. There are deer and no deer roast. Seasoned with a lot of salt. The quail breast was a wing. We have taken the dessert somewhere else.
