Get a taste of France in the heart of Germany at Galeries Lafayette Berlin, modeled after the original French department store in Paris. Though it was built in 1996 with a modern air, it is somewhat smaller, yet still manages to capture some of the same Parisian charm. Browse the many shops with mid- to high-end brands, and enjoy some French culinary specialties in the food hall beneath the stores. Check online for events like readings or wine tastings. • A well-organized shopping House that has everything you could wish for of luxury and ostentation. Even if it does not act, it is well worth a visit. On the lower floor there is a floor with a wide selection of delicacies and restaurants. Nice place for a light lunch or early dinner. Of course, it is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or champagne. At our visit was the service at the restaurant is not as good as last time.

  • Successful interior architecture by its originality and this central well that reminds the cupola of the galleries Lafayette in Paris a lot more contemporary.

  • Really nice mall with some great shops! A little expensive for my taste though.
  • It feels like home! Can stay like forever in the food area downstairs. The only problem is: bit too expensive. However if I need my special french treats, I'll buy it anyway. The staff is always friendly!
  • This department store looks pretty nice inside, and you can find the best brands here
  • Good store, a variety of goods, mainly French. A bit pricey considering that the same products can be found in many other places in Berlin at a much cheaper price.
  • Great cafe and deli at the lower level. Their coffee and pastries are among the best.
