  • In an Cold War communication area, the left towers have been turned into an artist collective. At the top lookout you have a great view of Berlin and the surrounding area. It is now 7€ to get in (a bi...  more »
  • This is a place that needs to be seen in Berlin. Located on a hill in the city a bit more device somewhere that if you walked to Berlin will show you in a different light because it is the exact opposite of what you can find in Midtown. More typically German houses, green nature everything speaks of another Berlin. Once over the Hill here in this abandoned place rediscover Berlin: its art, its irony, its frankness and its modernity enclosed in magnificent murals and artwork that you can find everywhere walking here and there. I advise anyone to stay

  • Public transport is the Devil Mountain while accessible requires but still a good 40min walking distance. The site is now very degenerated. For streetartfans some nice graffiti can be found for time history enthusiasts unfortunately little. Most of the buildings are inaccessible, much of the original is broken, away, fully provided with graffiti (not art) or simply garbage! You can for 7 of the grounds freely and even on the highest Tower. We have chosen a historical tour for 15eur. This is not recommended, and for the money is a cheek. It looks the same as everyone else, so gets no access to other areas. Our guide was an artist very nice, and could talk funny and good. Unfortunately, the contemporary information were so rare that the half is wikipediaeintrag informative. In addition, the Guide allowed several serious mistakes (dates, name information, etc). The nice man entered the art then something (inappropriate for a historical tour) personally one would very interested in "Art Guide" me (but not provided) here would shine our guide who introduced himself as artist determined! After the tour, I asked a few questions which are simply pushed up our guide, unfortunately he could answer none of these. So, the leadership was not really historically or really artistic! An expensive disappointment! Not to be recommended. A visit is worth a short break from the big city with a walk through the forest and a truly stunning view over Berlin, the Wannsee and the Grunewald yet!

  • Cool experience! If you have the possibility to go here by car, go:) especially on week days when it's quiet. Preferably in the evening at sunset. The view from the big radar tower is amazing. The sound effects inside the dome are quite the experience too! Shame there is an entrance fee charged by some locals... 7€ therefore 4 stars
  • Best place I've ever had the privilege of visiting. Totally mind blowing abandoned government facility now covered in street art. An amazing of Berlin, and you have to go right to the top of the tallest tower.
  • Very cool and unique place! The graffiti works are amazing and so as the view from the tower. There is an entrance fee of 7€ (5€ for students or handicapped). Inside there's a small stand where you can buy a cold beer and a hotdog. It is quite a walk from the bus station (~3 km), so you better come with a bike. There are also many biking/hiking trails around in the forest - vice nice!
  • Pretty cool place if you're into urban exploration and graffiti. There is a cover charge. The place closes the gates at 2100 hours. It is a little bit of a hike from the train station, so bring lots of water with you. Do not trust Google navigation to get there quick and easy, you are better off with a paper map and asking your way there. Comfortable shoes is recommended.
  • Biggest mountain "in" Berlin with the best view over the west part of the city. Quite some history in the place too. Now used for artists and freely visible.
