  • This place is a risk for your wallet! But even in seriously: so I found something so far in any city in Germany. The Department store is bright and clear, the selection huge. You can browse in peace and quiet and there is plenty of seating for cozy sample reading. Dussmann is mandatory at each of my visits to Berlin.

  • One of the best bookstores you can find in Berlin. Well organised, helpful and polite staff and even if you don't find the book you are looking for they will be able to order it for you for next day pick up. Opening hours are great especially if you are working full-time and want to peruse the bookshelves for any new scripts by your favourite author. They also got a rather large English book section where you will always find some classic novels and new release too. Definitely 5 out of 5. Personally I buy most of my books here exclusively.
  • Unbelievable book store. It has it all! And even if not: Order online and it will be ready to be picked up next day. There's staff enough to help you out right away. They are polite. It's easy to navigate in the different sections.
  • I simply love this place, especially the area where the international litterature is and the English bookshop. The staff is very helpful and wonderful. It is possible to sit and read. Huge choice of references! I love it
  • If you love to lose yourself in a library, you will love this. If, in addition, you are a stationery nerd, you'll ask to be locked up in. Besides books, a great variety including titles in English, they store the full Leuchtturm 1917 catalog of notebooks and agendas. You can pick up a book and sit everywhere and read to your heart's content. The inside cafeteria will make sure you don't starve. Well worth a (long) visit.
  • Great selection of books and music. Special English stuff department. A place for relaxation and to seep a coffee or glass of wine
