  • Cute, maybe a little pricey, but it offers a half-hour of distraction and makes us understand the peculiarities of the Berliner currywurst, history, ingredients etc. Suitable for children

  • Visit original of this Museum, which tells the story of the Currywurst, fun with reproduction of a barrack to Currywurst. Tasting of a small part of Currywurst included in the ticket at the end of the visit, version spicy or not, your choice!

  • Although the building itself is clean and tidy the content is minimal. There is not much to see and very little to do. I love Currywurst but this was a disappointment. The interactive Brattie wagon is...  more »

  • Greatest attraction in Berlin. A must do for vital knowledge on an important topic close to the Berlin peoples heart! The architecture exhibit is particularly interesting. Would re-visit.
  • A fun place to visit! It is a different kind of museum, so it is definitely a good idea to try - specially if you have kids with you.
  • There are always tourist traps in big cities, and among these is this 'Currywurst Museum'. 11 € for a very small og unimaginable display, with a strange film documentary included. Enjoy a REAL currywurst in the streets of Berlin instead :-)
  • It's quite funny but there isn't really enough to say about currywurst to make a museum, so it's very small. If it was cheaper I'd probably have given a better review but for €8 entry I felt pretty cheated.
  • I didn't go to the museum because I already know everything there is to know about food. But I did go to the cafe. I ordered the 3-sausage taster meal. It was ok, so I give it 3 stars. If the place wants 5 stars, they should have a 5-sausage taster meal. I think that's fair.

Where to stay in Berlin

The Kreuzberg neighborhood near the Oberbaumbrüke bridge is central and full of Berlin icons: street art, a piece of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery, and a proliferation of cafes. Friedrichshain is another option with a hip vibe due to the students who congregate at its cafes and galleries. Consider Mitte as a historic home base. Mitte is the area where almost all of Berlin's well-known buildings are located, and it is within walking distance of Alexanderplatz. For a peaceful residential area, try Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where the streets are lined with boutiques and quiet coffee shops.
