Trip Planner:   Europe  /  Germany  /  Berlin  /  Museums  /  Designpanoptikum
Designpanoptikum, Berlin
(4.5/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Described as a "surrealist museum of industrial objects," Designpanoptikum celebrates all things utilitarian, including objects from sports, aviation, medicine, and film. However, the displays are not straightforward and educational, but rather blend objects from different fields to create works of art. The installations are lit in shadow and don't offer any description; instead, you are encouraged to handle the objects and speculate about their use. Your ticket also includes entry to a photo gallery with the work of Vlad Korneev. Using our online itinerary creator, Berlin attractions like Designpanoptikum can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Amazing place comprised of ecelctic pieces both found and made.. make sure Vlad shares some of his many stories!
  • The most unusual, in my opinion, a Museum in Berlin in a vintage Museum DesignPanoptikum., opened in Berlin from Russia Vlad Korneevym, collected things in 20 century were design failures, and in today's world have become real art objects. Some items he found at the dump, any-through a friend. Bought something on eBay. Here you can see strange mannequins, old medical equipment, vintage electronics, Red Ranger of the mighty statue. If you are bored with classic museums, come here-in this crazy world of design.

  • A small, loving Museum, certainly unique. There's no signs and explanations, for a humorous Museum owner who likes the story one or the other and the exhibited curiosities one.
