Dali - The Exhibition at Potsdamer Platz, Berlin
(1.3/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Dali - The Exhibition at Potsdamer Platz is a house of the surreal, with more than 400 exhibits displaying Salvador Dali's genius. Look for the "Apocalypse of St. John" with holes punched in it--a painting that was blessed by the Pope and that Dali tried to destroy in a fit of self-abasement. English-speaking guides are on hand at the museum, so there is no need to book ahead. These Dali Scouts lead you through the rooms, describing paintings and sharing details about Dali's life along the way. The exhibits showcase more than 2,000 pieces of Dali's work gathered from private collections around the world. The modern building doubles as an event venue Put Dali - The Exhibition at Potsdamer Platz into our Berlin family vacation planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • We were surprised, Salvador Dalí was how versatile and productive. The Museum is relatively large and shows a wide range of images, but also films, sculptures and other works. We recommend you be sure to join one of the guided tours of the exhibition, even if one thinks to know Dali. There are to discover what you like to see over in his works. Even our kids were excited.

  • Stumbled across this place whilst exploring Berlin, and as a huge Dali fan I had to go in. Inside was many of his pieces I had never seen before, lots of line drawings, sketches and prints. It was nic...  more »
  • All minor works, no masterpiece, most sketches. Really disappointing. Recommended only for those who must write a biography of Dali.
