Dali - The Exhibition at Potsdamer Platz, Berlin

(1.3/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Dali - The Exhibition at Potsdamer Platz is a house of the surreal, with more than 400 exhibits displaying Salvador Dali's genius. Look for the "Apocalypse of St. John" with holes punched in it--a painting that was blessed by the Pope and that Dali tried to destroy in a fit of self-abasement. English-speaking guides are on hand at the museum, so there is no need to book ahead. These Dali Scouts lead you through the rooms, describing paintings and sharing details about Dali's life along the way. The exhibits showcase more than 2,000 pieces of Dali's work gathered from private collections around the world. The modern building doubles as an event venue Put Dali - The Exhibition at Potsdamer Platz into our Berlin family vacation planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • It was a great experience. After seeing the works exhibited in Paris and the exhibitions in Milan, this permanent exhibition surprises, both paintings and sculptures, both for short films screened. You can take pictures.

  • Maybe you have gone to the Dali Museum in Montmartre and in Figueres, this museum let me down by the poverty of the acquis. In any case, it's never bad to see the surreal madness of Spanish master.

  • The place is easy to find a Potsdamerin station, walking is only a couple of hundred meters. Entrance to get a few euros discount Berlin Welcome Card. Dali's works, most of which are litoja, graphics, etc. printing techniques made enough for two floors easily paired with hours. The show is exclusively for the Dali, which makes it a pretty heavy-in can be found in myself more interesting collections. Worth a visit, if you specifically is interested in the Dalista, and not wait for the big oil works kavalkadia.
