Dali - The Exhibition at Potsdamer Platz is a house of the surreal, with more than 400 exhibits displaying Salvador Dali's genius. Look for the "Apocalypse of St. John" with holes punched in it--a painting that was blessed by the Pope and that Dali tried to destroy in a fit of self-abasement. English-speaking guides are on hand at the museum, so there is no need to book ahead. These Dali Scouts lead you through the rooms, describing paintings and sharing details about Dali's life along the way. The exhibits showcase more than 2,000 pieces of Dali's work gathered from private collections around the world. The modern building doubles as an event venue Add Dali - The Exhibition at Potsdamer Platz to your Berlin travel itinerary, and discover new vacation ideas by using our Berlin online itinerary planner .

  • A true masterpiece for us Dali fans. I was so happy when I found out about this exhibition as Dali is one of my favourite artists. We paid the extra fee to take photos as there was no way I was going ...  more »
  • We visited on a Monday; my mother, partner and me. First of all I am not a fan so I am not commenting on what you actually get to see. I attempted to purchase 3 entry tickets, 2 with the Berlin Welcom...  more »

  • Absolutely fantastic gallery full of Dali's bizarre but interesting work. This is a place where you should really take your time to look around to see everything. Great for students as you can get student discount and an offer to take pictures however for none student if you have a travel ticket then this can also give you discounted entry. There is a cloakroom to store your bags and coats. I'd recommend this place to even none art interested people as this place contains some pretty bizarre prints, sculptures and videos that it will interest anyone. There is however a lot of sexual/suggested sexual content so it's not a place for young children. This was the second time I have been to this gallery so it must be great.
  • The museum didn't feature the popular pieces you might already know, but I think that's a good thing, cause this way you can see more of Dalí's art that you haven' already seen hundreds of times, like the melting clocks e.g. The price is okay and there's a students discount. It's true though, that you have to pay 2€ extra to take pictures, but as explained by the museum, this is due to copyright reasons, so that's fine. All in all I'd say it's worth a visit. I took approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to see everything including the movies, but I assume you'll need longer if you take a closer look at some of the exhibits.
  • Lots of artworks but: No information about the artist or the artworks. At all. Could have bought a booklet about the exhibition. But it was already quite expensive. For me, who likes to know what drives an artist or what were different phases of his art, this was really disappointing.
  • This was an amazing exhibition. Pricewise it was cheaper than similar exhibitions in my hometown London, it had a wonderful range of his less well known works (very much focusing on sketches) which were beautifully executed. The staff were friendly, nicely stocked gift shop, and I would heartily recommend it to art lovers. The €2 surcharge for permission to take photographs is probably the best €2 I spent all holiday. Really enjoyed my visit here!
  • A new experience, I had seen the "La Divina Comedia" in El Salvador's museum of art "MARTE", it brought back some memories. After seeing all of these beautiful work, I ended up in Dali's work, he literally transported my mind to another world. If you are in Postdamer Platz this exhibition is a must.
