Dali - Die Ausstellung am Potsdamer Platz, Berlin

(1.3/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web)
Dali - Die Ausstellung am Potsdamer Platz is a house of the surreal, with more than 400 exhibits displaying Salvador Dali's genius. Look for the "Apocalypse of St. John" with holes punched in it--a painting that was blessed by the Pope and that Dali tried to destroy in a fit of self-abasement. English-speaking guides are on hand at the museum, so there is no need to book ahead. These Dali Scouts lead you through the rooms, describing paintings and sharing details about Dali's life along the way. The exhibits showcase more than 2,000 pieces of Dali's work gathered from private collections around the world. The modern building doubles as an event venue Put Dali - Die Ausstellung am Potsdamer Platz into our Berlin family vacation planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Only early drawings, but no paintings among the exhibits and that there are for €12.50 per person and this wardrobe, etc all extra shooting permit. No discounts, just coffee on the usual discount cards of the hotels. Go to the Berlinische Gallery! With the discount cards from the hotels 2 people get reduced admission to €5, cloakroom free, photograph you must also and above all to get an exhibition of large-format painting really...

  • We went with somewhat mixed feelings about the exhibition, after we had read the reviews here. The presentation with the to bookable Extras actually somewhat reminiscent of a low-cost airline. We have purchased a leadership and without them we would be left without any background information from the Museum. There are indeed many exhibits, but actually no explanations. This may be already frustrating. The images are then perhaps "nice" or "funny" to watch, but nothing more. This entry is too high. The leadership has impressed us so, that I with very good here but the exhibition would like to evaluate. With the new knowledge we have us then long kept in the Museum and discovered new details.
