Discover fine Baroque and Rococo architecture at Charlottenburg Palace, the largest palace in Berlin. One of the city's most iconic landmarks, the 17th-century palace sits on an estate framed by large formal gardens, a belvedere, and mausoleum. Tour the palace's royal apartments to view an extensive collection of 18th-century French paintings and fine porcelain. Outside, you can wander through the Baroque-style landscaped courtyards. You may only take photographs inside the palace if you purchase of a permit at the entrance. • The palace is another level of beautiful. It is gigantic and majestic. You can learn about it's history inside or just enjoy it's fantastic architecture and the garden on the back as well. The flowers, the lake, the swans... it just makes the palace unique. One of the must see sights in Berlin. It takes about half an hour, 40 minutes with a 50cc scooter to get there.
  • Best place i ever been to. So peaceful and quiet at the morning. Beautiful garden/park at the back, really fine looking. You can go there for a morning run, it's gorgeous there. If you're first time to Berlin you definitely need to visit this place.
  • Great gardens and palace was huge! I unfortunately didn’t get to go in! But it was worth visiting just for the gardens! They are amazing it goes from beautifully kept flower beds and paths that back onto a lake/pond, these when expand out into tree paths than more wild grass and less kept areas! The transition is really well done! And the palace itself is spectacular to look at and is gigantic!!
  • Very well put together walk through of the various rooms. Make sure you visit on a cool day as the upper floors get quite hot and stuffy. The history is exceptional and the place is well kept.
  • I wasn't inside of that Palace, but I and my wife walked around it and it's garden, so I think I can write some kind of review on it. A very long palace with beautiful architecture and several sculptures around. a relatively large park behind it with a fountain and a small pond. A long lawn and flowers stretch from the palace to the pond. As my wife noted, apparently they don’t look at the flowers judging by the appearance of the place where they are located, and how it's looked. Still, it was very interesting to walk there for me as a tourist. This is an impressive place, even if you decide not to go inside and buy a ticket.
